SwitchIT

Is a PC based switching and generation simulator.

Is an ideal training tool for both experienced and trainee personnel who have to operate and control an electrical distribution network.

Can be configured to reflect your distribution and generation system.

Switching Simulator

As a switching simulator SwitchIT can be used to train personnel correct switching procedures. As the simulator reflects your system the operators will be familiarising themselves with switching operations without the risk of shutting the system down. SwitchIT will also simulate any interlocking or inter-tripping arrangement that your system has. Whenever a switching action is carried out the current state of the system is shown in the on screen graphics.

Generator Simlator

SwitchIT also includes a powerful generator simulator. This can also be designed to reflect your generator control panel. The simulator allows personnel to practise synchronising generators. Once synchronised the generators can share active and reactive loads using the appropriate controls. The controls have realistic response times and the generators can be configured for droop or isochronous control.
