SwitchIT Demonstration
In this demonstration:
- One of the generators is started up and circuit breakers are closed so that it feeds across both boards.
- A second generator is then started up and automatically synced onto the board.
- A motor is started up and load sharing is demonstrated.
- Both transformers feeding to the Low Voltage are powered up and the Bus-Tie circuit breakers are closed
to give a potential for multiple fault paths. System logic is demonstrated by automatically opening one of the Bus-Tie breakers to rectify this situation.- The Bus-Tie is closed again and a feed from one of the Transformers is shut off to demonstrate bi-directional feeding across Bus-Ties.
- Load is set on the Low Voltage boards to demonstrate how the user can define the load a board puts on the system
- The Transformer circuit breaker is opened. This cuts the feed to everything down stream and demonstrated intertrips.
- The main Bus-Tie is opened to demonstrate load sharing between the generators.
- A generator is turned off to demonstrate loss of power and system shutdown.
- An Isolation and Earthing of a circuit breaker is performed.
